Candy Cane Spondy Necklace

This striking necklace showcases a large reddish-purple pendant made from Candy Cane Mariånas spondylus, a unique and vibrant shell native to the Marianas. The pendant is paired with matching spondylus side beads and clam shell beads carved in the shape of latte stones, a distinct architectural feature found throughout the Mariana Islands. Every side bead has been carefully hand-carved and polished by CHamoru artisan Juan Ogo, reflecting a high level of skill and dedication. This piece is a true example of fine island craftsmanship using traditional materials.
